The Wrongest Answer (reverse trivia game)

The Wrongest Answer is a reverse trivia game, in which three answers are more-or-less correct, and the players must identify the one answer that ISN'T correct. The goal is to demonstrate that reality is complex; truth is often contextual and relative; and sometimes, there is no single "right" answer, and multiple seemingly contradictory things can be true at the same time.

Projekti eesmärk

The main aim of the project is to create an initial database of trivia questions (including answers and hints) for The Wrongest Answer. The questions will be grouped into different thematic categories and different levels of difficulty (easy, medium, hard). Each participant will be responsible for contributing questions in their area(s) of expertise and interest. Each week, we will test the newly written questions and adjust them as needed. Depending on the backgrounds of the students who apply, some participants may be tasked with other responsibilities related to the game: e.g., UI/UX prototyping or graphic assets creation.

Projekti tulemused

The project resulted in:

  • Ca. 400 "reverse quiz" questions written by the students
  • Most of these were tested in class and, where needed, adjusted
  • A user experience prototype, which was then converted into a fully playable prototype of the game
  • A playtest report with 11 testers from outside the project
  • An outline of the game story and concept art to accompany it
  • A draft web page for the game

When referencing project outcomes, the APA7 citation system is used.
If a work has more than 20 authors, the names of the first 19 authors are listed, followed by an ellipsis (...), and then the name of the final author. If there are fewer than 20 authors, the names of all authors are listed.
