LIFE is a subject at Tallinn University where students from different study fields carry out a collaborative project on a topic of their interest. The team consists of 6 students from at least three different study fields.

What?

LIFE (Learning in Interdisciplinary Focused Environment) is a subject in which real-life problems are solved through teamwork. We envision LIFE as a model and direction for future education. Each LIFE project is like a startup, where inspiring ideas from participants converge with a problem seeking answers, aiming to solve it smartly. Searching for solutions to real-life problems based on scientific sources can lead to collaboration with external partners.

LIFE project presented us with an intriguing and playful challenge which allowed us to create something that also has weight and importance outside of the school – the materials produced are likely to be of interest to ballet institutions and cultural museums.
