Creating media rich interactive fiction using Twine

The aim of the project

The overall aim of this project is to provide students with theoretical and practical insights of product design, project management, and working effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

Depending on their role within the team, students will gain, improve and/or practically apply a variety of further specific skills, including: 

  • Scriptwriting and creative writing
  • Sketching and visual graphic design
  • Game design and marketing
  • Coding (especially HTML/CSS/Java)
  • Animation and sound design
  • Professionally use the Twine editor

Additionally, students will develop/improve/foster their digital literacy and future-ready skills. Future teachers and educators, in particular, will be empowered to carry out similar projects to enable their own students build these competencies.

If a work has more than 20 authors, the names of the first 19 authors are listed, followed by an ellipsis (...), and then the name of the final author. If there are fewer than 20 authors, the names of all authors are listed.
