Helge – School Psychologist Dashboard and Students' Mobile App – Phase II

The outcome of this project should be the app and the dashboard to help children with their mental health issues. In its most tangible form, it should be alfa-tested and acceptable for both Google Play store and Apple Store.

The aim of the project

During Autumn 2020 the goal is to complete the Helge ELU / LIFE project where the outcome would be a functioning mobile app. In Autumn 2020 we plan to build on the previous semester work and continue with:

  • Collecting additional use cases from parents and school support specialists (e.g. school psychologists, special pedagogues, support specialists for children with special needs) and enhancing the existing use cases based through interviews and focus groups.
  • Creating content for the app and marketing strategy for communication.
  • Testing the interactive prototypes with the target groups (psychologists, children, and parents).
  • Fine tuning the prototype using Figma.
  • Designing for appropriation.
  • Programming the app using Flutter (Dart).
  • Programming the school psychologist dashboard using React + Node.js (MERN stack based on JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • Testing the solutions with the target groups.
